Or: The Page That Ships With Every WordPress Site Ever
Ah, the Sample Page. The unsung hero of every fresh WordPress installation. If websites were apartments, this would be the empty room with a single lightbulb and a note that says “furniture coming soon.”
You didn’t click on this by accident — or maybe you did, and honestly, that’s fine too. Either way, welcome to the most honest page on this entire site: a placeholder that knows it’s a placeholder, and has fully made peace with that.
Most people delete this page. I kept it. Why? Because there’s something oddly poetic about a web developer — someone who builds digital experiences for a living — shipping his own site with the WordPress default still intact. It’s not laziness. It’s authenticity (okay, it’s a little bit of both.)
Here’s what this page could have been: a portfolio showcase, a services breakdown, a cinematic about-me section with parallax scrolling and a hero image of me staring thoughtfully into the distance. And it will be, eventually — built with WordPress, fine-tuned with Elementor, and probably automated with a GoHighLevel workflow or two behind the scenes.
But for now? It’s this. A sample page, doing its best.
Check back soon. Big things are loading.
